People like to buy form those they know, like and trust. What better way to do just that than by getting others to talk about your business to potential customers? Networking works!
The Business Connection Network (BCN) –
One of the most active and dynamic RC Chamber groups, with an average of 80+ strong, the Business Connection Network (BCN) meets on the first and third Thursday of the month to enjoy a continental breakfast and networking session. Moreover, there is also a terrific sponsored Quarterly BCN Expo aimed to showcase the business of each member. More information.
The Ambassador Council –
Operates as a public relations arm of the RC Chamber. This is a volunteer group of members who assist in the overall administration of the membership. They motivate and engage members to get involved in all RC Chamber activities allowing them to develop close bonds with other businesses. More information.
The Chamber offers one or more mixers each month. These are parties at a place of business with entertainment, food and alcoholic beverages. They are great opportunities both to get to know the hosting member business and to make new acquaintances. Often mixers are held in partnership with other local chambers and/or our Chamber Alliance.
Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings –
Due to the explosive growth here in Rancho Cucamonga, the RC Chamber has at least one ribbon cutting or grand opening each week. These events are held at the new business's location and give an opportunity for the chamber members to meet and become acquainted with that business and other members alike; great relationships are formed at these events. Finger food and beverages are served in the festivity.
Open Houses –
Similar to Grand Openings, Open Houses give each member the opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed environment; they include some food, beverages and some might even have entertainment.
The RC Chamber Luncheon –
This event is held quarterly and includes both a speaker on a subject of common interest and a legislative update by city, county, state, and federal elected officials or their representatives.
The New Member Reception –
The primary purpose of this event is to introduce new members to the benefits and services of the RC Chamber of Commerce. Each new member receives a member Plaque acknowledging their inclusion to the Chamber. They are also given the opportunity to tell us more about their business and their product/service offerings. All members are invited to attend. A buffet dinner of two or three courses is provided by the Sycamore Inn and a chamber hosted wine bar is also available. New members have an opportunity to win an ad in the newsletter or a new member spotlight on our Website.
